Front Yard Garden Competition Kick-Off

Front Yard Garden Competition Kick-Off

Next week, thirteen front yards along South Buffalo’s Newman Place (bordering the Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Cazenovia Park) will be transformed by professional landscapers, who will donate their time and materials and compete to create the most impressive yards. This Front Yard Garden Competition is part of 2nd annual National Garden Festival and festival organizers believe it is the only such civic-minded garden competition in the country.

The public can view the landscaping work in progress from July 11 to July 16 and then vote for their favorite yard from July 17 to July 22.
