County Clerk offers monthly community outreach at Auto Bureau
 

Erie County, NY- As a service to Erie County residents, County Clerk Chris Jacobs announces his office will offer additional “Passports on the Move” outreach events the second Tuesday of every month. The next event will be held on Tuesday, October 8th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Erie County Auto Bureau, located in the Northtown Plaza, 3095 Sheridan Drive in Amherst.

“The Clerk’s Office is pleased to make this service available in order to meet the growing demand for passports,” said County Clerk Jacobs. “I want to make County government more customer-centered, including offering convenient alternatives for our customers to obtain passports.”

Dog Ears Bookstore & Café, a nonprofit community bookstore located at 688 Abbott Road in South Buffalo, will host two author signings in September. 

At 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, Dog Ears will welcome Cathrina Constantine, author of the young adult novel “Wickedly They Come.” And from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, author Keith White Jr. will visit Dog Ears to sign copies of his growing line of children’s books. White’s “Color-With-Me” series now includes five books, including his first title, “Andrew and the Pirates.”
