Dog Days of Summer Event to Benefit Pet Connection

Pet Connection Programs Inc., a nonprofit special care shelter for dogs and cats, invites the public to join them for a brand new event. Dog Days of Summer will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Enjoy the Journey Art Gallery, 1168 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca.

This first-time event will feature puppy adoptions and canvas dog paw art created by your dog! That’s right ... Pet Connection will provide the paint and canvas, and your dog will supply the creativity, giving you a one-of-a-kind painting that you can take home and display.

Reusable totes filled with pet surprises will also be available, and there will be hot dogs and hamburgers cooking on the grill. Guests are asked to park in the gallery’s parking lot or along Orchard Park Road.
