Poloncarz Endorses Fahey for Assembly | News
County Executive Stresses Fahey’s Ideas, Work Ethic as Benefits for Region
Erie County – With just a week to go until the Special Election, Chris Fahey, candidate for New York State Assembly, added the endorsement of Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz. In endorsing Fahey, Poloncarz said: “Now more than ever, Erie County residents need a dedicated advocate who will fight for this community. Chris Fahey is the clear choice for voters in the 145th Assembly District, and he will represent us well in Albany.”
Much like County Executive Poloncarz, Fahey comes from traditional Western New York roots. The son of a Buffalo police officer and one of nine children, Fahey is a South Buffalo homeowner who understands the value of hard work and believes in the future of this community. Also like Poloncarz, after completing college, Fahey worked in the private sector before entering public service.
Poloncarz added: “Chris Fahey understands that it’s important to listen to residents, to work hard for them and to get things done. I look forward to working with him to make Erie County and Western New York a better place to live and work.”
Chris Fahey is the Democratic candidate running in the Special election on March 20, being held to fill the seat left vacant after the election of Mark Schroeder to the office of City Comptroller for Buffalo.
