Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy Seeks Help to 'Releaf' Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The 2006 October Storm destroyed 33,000 trees in our Olmsted Parks. One vote on line per day at the Pepsi Refresh Project website can help the Conservancy win $50,000 to plant 1,000 trees over the next year.

Your votes help Buffalo now, and for the future. A single mature tree can absorb carbon dioxide at a rate of 48 lbs. per year and release enough oxygen back into the atmosphere to support two human beings.
