Second Annual Harvest Fest Family Day
Second Annual Harvest Fest Family Day

Join us for our second annual Harvest Fest, taking place on Sunday, September 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. This event is made possible with generous support from the Northwest Buffalo Community Center. All ages are welcome to come and enjoy.

The ALL LIVE entertainment will include music by the Canal Street String Band, plus:

  • demonstrations by New York State Designer blacksmiths
  • demonstrations by spinners and weavers from the Weavers Guild of Buffalo
  • animals from the Buffalo Zoo’s historic Heritage Farm
  • pony rides from Blaze’s Pony Express

Activities will include hands-on craft activities, including pumpkin painting, and making corn husk dolls. In addition, all visitors may help create a large canvas painting representing a quilt design. Docents will offer free tours of the newly refurbished Oishei Pioneer Life Gallery. Follow a map to find the artifacts, in our museum scavenger hunt.
