All Hallow's Eve Family Day--Costumes, Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

The Buffalo and Eeeeeerie County Historical Society presents thrills and chills at our All Hallow’s Eve family event, taking place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2011.

The afternoon will feature FREE horse-and-carriage rides through the historic neighborhood around the museum! Additional activities will include pumpkin-painting, mask-making, and scary museum tours: visitors will hear tales about the most interesting and dark artifacts on display in the museum.

In addition, guests will find family fun when they visit our huge model train display. When you work up a thirst, try some free, fresh apple cider.

All are encouraged to dress in a beautiful or scary costumes, and participate in a parade! Take a mini-museum tour and go on an artifact scavenger hunt, too.

Admission for all ages for the event is $5 for members of the Historical Society, and $10 for non-member. Adults are free with children’s admission.
