On Friday, September 5th, 2014, the Valley Community Association will host their fourth annual “Halfway To St. Patrick’s Day Party” at Buffalo River Fest Park, located at 249 Ohio Street, Buffalo, New York.  The event will run from 7pm to 11pm and will feature the local Irish band “The Left Overs”.

“The Left Overs” have established a following in Buffalo and throughout Western New York for over a decade. With music ranging from popular drinking songs to the historical and poignant rebel songs of Irish past, “The Left Overs” offer a large variety of tunes and ballads.  The band was founded by Jerry Shea and Pat Gerken, on the premise that good music will always bring people together. “The Left Overs” are Jerry Shea, Pat Gerken, Elizabeth Shea, Ryan Young, Dave Pruski, Greg Kent, and Tim Ellis.

“The Left Overs” were the winners of Best Acoustic Band in ArtVoice’s “Best of Buffalo” Awards in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and Elizabeth Shea was nominated for Best Female Singer for the 2014 awards.  Check out more about the band by visiting their website at www.theleftovers.com.

Also performing at the party will be the Greater Buffalo Firefighters Pipes & Drums!
